This is the story about a girl (a really hip girl I might add...) who had a great husband, great family, great career (yada, yada, yada), yet something was missing. Although she loved her 15+ year career, she needed a new challenge.

When she was young, she always dreamed of moving to Manhattan and owning a boutique. Shopping had been her favorite pastime forever and she traveled to New York frequently, buying great stuff for her and all her friends (the list keeps growing!) One day, she woke up desperately depressed, overworked and underappreciated and decided it was time to do something about it. After a couple of weeks of weighing dreams against reality, the Funky Violet boutique was created!

Today, we're online...SoHo comes to Cleveland, baby! Our goals are simple - to have a friendly, funky, hip on-line store, get a great boutique review in the Lucky Magazine and live happily ever after shopping for all our friends and customers with the passion and enthusiasm we have when we shop for ourselves. Ah, life is good.
